Paper-mode notice
What paper mode means: All balances on Cryptonyk today are virtual. The order routing, matching engine, fee schedule, and audit trail are the same code that will clear real money — only the balance is fictitious.
What that means for you
- You cannot deposit, withdraw, or transfer real fiat or crypto to or from Cryptonyk today.
- Profits and losses recorded against your account are not realized money.
- Your trade history, fills, and ranks are recorded immutably and will be carried over to the fiat product when it launches.
Fiat-launch criteria
Cryptonyk will move to fiat clearing once the following conditions are met:
- Required regulatory licensing complete in target jurisdictions.
- SOC 2 Type II audit closed with no material findings.
- Operational reserves and clearing arrangements in place with a banking partner.
- Customer-funded balance segregation infrastructure live and audited.
This page is the canonical source of truth for paper-mode mechanics. Any marketing claim that conflicts with this disclosure is in error and should be reported to the operations team.
Not investment advice
Nothing on Cryptonyk is investment, legal, or tax advice. Trading cryptocurrencies involves risk including total loss of capital.
